Donn Cuailgne Raglan

Donn Cuailgne Raglan

Once, when the world was young, there lived two gigantic bulls on the island of Ireland. One was dark as the night sky and one was white as sun-bleached bone, but when men beheld either of these bulls they were reminded of the unstoppable power of wild and untameable beasts.

When these two bulls met in combat it was the dark bull, Donn Cuailgne, who emerged victorious. He impaled his opponent, Finnbennach, upon his horns and carried his lifeless corpse across the land of Ireland, scattering his dismembered body parts to create and name the land of Érinn as it exists today.

So the tale is told, and with this design we commemorate Donn Cuailgne, who could not be tamed.

This is a modern baseball style raglan made from a comfortable poly-cotton blend.
